They make diamonds look like dust
But my feelings still confuse me
Is this love or is it lust?

My emotions are a sea
I don't know if I'll sink or swim
Because there is a stack of songs in my bedroom
And its all written for him

Theres no teardrops on my guitar
Even though it makes me want to cry
To think that he doesn't see
What we could be, unlike I

So I'll write another song
I'll wish on stars until you see
Just realize with those big brown eyes
That you belong with me :)
